Drones and live monitoring devices have significantly reduced the time needed to address infestation hotspots, showcasing the industry's commitment to innovation and efficiency.
Minister of State for Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash emphasized the importance of pest management workers in safeguarding public health. With the PWM expansion, the government is acknowledging the expertise and dedication of these workers, who often operate behind the scenes.
NTUC assistant secretary-general Melvin Yong, an advocate for the pest management industry, welcomes the PWM expansion as a means to uplift workers in the sector.
